The family archive,
built for you.
No upload caps, no per-photo meters, no hourly rates — bring us everything. We can promise that because your archive isn't destined for our servers: it's built into a Memories Lockbox, a private computer your family owns outright. All year, a real archivist and your Family Intelligence build it together — until the day it comes home, engraved, filled, and ready to hand down.

Month twelve: Delivery Day
Take your Lockbox home — or keep going.
"Where do memories go?"
It's the question that started everything — because the things you can't bear to lose deserve more than a shoebox, a dying hard drive, or an app that won't exist in ten years.
A year of building.
A delivery day to remember.
This is the project your family has been putting off for a decade — done for you, one month at a time, without a $30,000 invoice at the end.
1 · Upload everything digital.
Phones, laptops, old hard drives, cloud accounts — unlimited uploads from day one. Our Family Intelligence organizes as you go: faces, moments, threads through the years.
2 · Month one: your concierge, and your first envelope.
In your first month, a real person sits down with you — live, one-on-one — to set up the archive and plan what to send first. Then a prepaid envelope arrives at your door. Fill it with your first batch of photos whenever you're ready and drop it in the mail. No sorting required. That's our job.
3 · We scan, curate, and build.
Your archivist scans everything at archival quality and returns every original to you, tracked and insured. Ready to send more? Order another envelope, or a memory box for albums, slides, film, and tapes, at a modest fixed price. All year, your Lockbox is on our workbench — being built, engraved, and filled — while you watch the archive grow in the app.
4 · Delivery Day.
Month twelve: your finished Lockbox arrives — the whole year inside, your family's names machined into the base. Take delivery and graduate, or keep the archive growing. It comes home either way. And if you're planning further ahead, leave instructions with us naming the family member who should receive your Lockbox as part of your estate or legacy plan — we'll deliver it to them when the time comes.
Start with one envelope.
Add a box whenever you're ready.
Most families own thousands of photos nobody has ever organized — and a closet of media nobody can play. Your first envelope, included in month one, turns an impossible project into a first step that takes ten minutes. When you want to send more — another envelope of prints, or a box for albums, slides, film, and tapes — order one at a modest fixed price and we handle the rest.

The in-between that
never existed.
A private archivist costs $30,000 to $100,000. The app subscriptions cost $99 a year — and leave you with a scattered pile of prompts, QR codes, and accounts. In between, where families actually live, there was nothing. Until now.

We onboard a limited number of families each month, so every archive gets the attention it deserves.
Three ways to save a family's memories.
A private archivist or personal historian does magnificent work — over 18 months or more, for $30,000 to $100,000 and beyond. It's what the great families have always done.
The apps cost $99 a year and hand the work back to you: weekly email prompts, QR codes that die with the company, an archive scattered across services that don't talk to each other.
Memoresse does the archivist's work — the scanning, the curating, the heirloom at the end — for about a tenth of the cost, even after a film or a printed book. That's the whole idea.
Every original
comes home.
You've heard the horror stories — scanning services that lost a family's only copies. We built the entire service around never being that story.
Tracked and insured, both directions.
Every envelope and box ships with tracking and insurance — on the way to us and on the way home. You can see where your memories are at every step.
Photographed on arrival.
Every envelope and box is opened on camera and its contents catalogued before a single scan. You get a record of exactly what we received — and exactly what comes back.
Archival-quality scanning.
Prints, slides, negatives, film, tape, documents — digitized carefully, by people who handle originals for a living, never run through a bulk hopper.
Built on our workbench, kept on your shelf.
Through the year, your Lockbox is being made and filled in our studio — like anything worth engraving. On Delivery Day it comes home for good: your archive on hardware you own, not on someone else's server.
Export everything, all year long.
Even while your Lockbox is being built, your archive is yours — download every photo, story, and recording as open .mem files at any time. Nothing is ever hostage, not even mid-build.
AI that notices and asks. It never invents.
Family Intelligence organizes and asks the questions nobody thought to ask — but every word of the story is authored by your family, never generated for you.
Everything a family's memories deserve.
Three promises we'll never break.
We made three decisions at the start that no investor can change. They're built into the hardware, the software, and every Lockbox we deliver.
Your memories will never be mined, analyzed, or sold. What's in your archive is your family's business — and no one else's.
The archive ends up on hardware you own, in your home. An heirloom you keep, never a rental you can lose.
Your kids should inherit the meaning, not a forgotten login to a dead account. Tell us who should receive your Lockbox, and it goes to them.
Start with a conversation.
We onboard a limited number of families each month, so every archive gets the attention it deserves. The first conversation is free — thirty minutes about your family, your shoeboxes, and what you're most afraid of losing.
