Your first month comes with a real person. In a live, one-on-one concierge session, they set up your archive with you, answer every question, and plan what to send first. Then a prepaid envelope arrives at your door. Fill it with your first batch of photos whenever you're ready and drop it in the mail — no sorting, no labeling, no guilt about the mess. It's tracked and insured both ways, photographed on arrival, scanned at archival quality by your archivist, and every original comes home. Want to send more? And here's the part a feed can't do: the same Moment can show each person the view that's theirs, and when they react or add their own memory, it comes back to you and becomes part of the archive. All year, your Memories Lockbox has been on our workbench — built, engraved with your family's names, and filled as the archive grows. At month twelve it comes home: your photos, your stories, and the intelligence that organizes them, on your shelf, not on rented servers. Take delivery and celebrate — or keep the archive growing with us. And if you're planning further ahead, you can leave instructions with us naming the family member who should receive your Lockbox as part of your estate or legacy plan; we deliver it to them when the time comes. Either way, nothing was ever hostage: everything you author can leave at any time as a .mem file — an open, portable package you can store anywhere and open without us, notarized with a public timestamp so your family can always prove when a memory was recorded and that it hasn't been altered since.

Memories coaching is a guided, six-phase conversation with a trained Memories Coach, built around a memory from your own archive. It's meaning-making, not therapy: the Memories Coach facilitates, the software keeps the session safe and on course, and every "I feel" is yours — spoken by you, recorded in your words, never suggested by the AI. Sessions close on courage, and what you author in a session becomes part of your archive. Like everything beyond the Archive Year, sessions are à la carte at a fixed price — never hourly, never a surprise.

What's a .mem file?
An open, portable package holding your photos, your words, and your voice together in one file. You can store it anywhere, and it opens without Memoresse.
Does my family need the app to view what I send?
No. A shared Memory Moment opens in any browser — no app, no account, nothing to install.
What does notarized mean?
It means there's a public timestamp proving when a memory was recorded and that it hasn't been altered since. It doesn't make any claim about whether what's described is true — only about integrity and timing.
What if I have more than one envelope's worth?
Most families do. Your first envelope is included in month one; after that, order another envelope for prints, or a memory box for albums, slides, film, tapes, and letters, at a modest fixed price. Everything is tracked and insured both ways, and every original comes home. For now we ship within the United States only.
Can my Lockbox go to my children when I'm gone?
Yes. Leave instructions with us naming the family member who should receive it, as part of your estate or legacy planning, and we deliver the Lockbox to them when the time comes. Your archivist can help you set this up, and you can change it at any time.
